Stream Enhancement Program Coordinator

The Stream Enhancement Program Coordinator is a regular, full-time employee serving the Tualatin Soil and Water Conservation District (District). This position is directly responsible to the District Board of Directors and is supervised by the Natural Resources Program Manager. The position will be responsible for implementing the District’s Stream Enhancement Program, a revegetation program aimed at restoring stream buffers in agricultural and urban areas in the Tualatin Basin.
The Stream Enhancement Program reflects a broad partnership with the goal of improving water quality, lowering stream temperatures and protecting natural resources in Washington County. The program is built upon a productive partnership among the District, private landowners, a local utility, multiple state and federal agencies, and other local partners. The District manages over 80 streams restoration projects on private land, covering over 700 acres. The successful candidate will also work with District staff to help support other District objectives and activities.
