Forest Conservation Specialist
Close Date: Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 12:00pm.
The Forest Conservation Specialist is a regular, full-time employee serving the Tualatin Soil and Water Conservation District (District). This position is directly responsible to the District Board of Directors and is supervised by the Natural Resources Program Manager. The position will be responsible for implementing the District’s new Forest Conservation Program.
The Forest Conservation Specialist works with small woodland owners, farmers, residential landowners and program partners to implement the District’s conservation objectives on farm and forest lands in Washington County. The successful candidate will also work with District staff to help support other District objectives and activities.
